Two Seven Ventures is a micro-VC led by Todd Mitchell, a seasoned operator and early-stage investor focused on climate, energy, and infrastructure tech.

Before TSV, Todd went all-in on Alta Resources — more specifically, on founder Joe Greenberg and his team — resulting in one of the most successful private energy exits of the past decade.

That win funded Fund I, where Todd backed over a dozen early-stage teams building at the intersection of infrastructure, decarbonization, and software.

Along the way, Todd earned a master’s in Sustainable Development (Edinburgh), led the Houston Advanced Research Center as President and now Chair, served on the Colorado Air Quality Control Commission, and sat on the Devon Energy board for nearly a decade.
